Hi, Admin 1 here. I am a licenced amateur. I use the cheap Baofeng UV-5R 2 meter & 70cm handies for my repeater work and I am hitting the GB3EA repeater 37 miles away using 5 Watts. I have other rigs and the one I tend to play with most is my 10m / 6m / 2m & 70 cm quad band radio. I enjoy a bit of HF work also I believe that radio will form a very important part of survivalism when we are forced to realise the phones don't work, nor will they for a fair while. As it is, RAYNET, the emergency amateur radio network already helps the emergency services and at local events. After the SHTF I think radio will prove its worth, it was used much in the Nepal crisis.

For your Radio's, could you suggest a good radio pouch, possibly of DPM colour? I can't seem to find one, and any DPM pouches I do find aren't big enough in size to accomodate the radio.
