I’d like to see a thread dedicated to self sufficiency. I think that the knowledge involved in producing our own food is going to be wisdom invaluable. The group I’m involved with over here is only just getting started but we have set out a ‘stead’ and have started the process of creating our allotment, which is about one third of an acre with room to grow (excuse the pun). I’m getting set back up with fowl after a break for a few years (of having no where to put them). Other members of our group keep livestock, and are planning to put a self sufficiency bent on that now as well. We have also just set our selves up with a hunting team of Dog’s, ferrets and guns, with Rabbits and Pigeon being the quarry in abundance and there fore of choice. So hopefully Wulfcynn can offer some practical working information to this thread.

Now that's my kind of prepping, excellent stuff aethwulf! Cheer’s Oathsworn mate ! It’s going to be a lot of work but worth it I hope ! I support any movement and people who are trying to detach themselves from current society by going self sufficient in groups and working/living on their own land. Establishing their own communities fore reliance and security, and to stick the finger to today's woes of 21st century politics. More power to you mate, I wish you well! I'll hopefully follow suit in a years time when I can purchase at least 2 acres of my own land.

Sorry it took me so long to do it and I/we are happy to have the interaction from the Wulfcynn here on this forum. Frith brothers. Bri
